Amazing Spring Season

posted May 7, 2014, 4:53 AM by Nevin Steinberg
I'm just taking a moment to reflect on the incredible spring that I am winding up this week. I am so proud to be involved with the Tony-nominated Mothers and Sons, Terrence McNally's 25th Broadway show! I opened my fourth David Ives play at Classic Stage Company, The Heir Apparent. Workshopped Bright Star, a surprising and unusual new musical by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell.  Opened an intimate new musical, A Little More Alive, at Kanas City Repertory.  And now wrapping it all up with a workshop of Lin-Manuel Miranda's latest mind-blower, Hamilton for The Public Theater.  All the while, doing some amazing things at Carnegie Hall, including Guys and Dolls, Ellington's Sacred Music and a Natalie Merchant Family Concert.  Truly, a great season.  Looking forward to a break and then back at it soon!
